Freind you cannot choose the kannada language in the first stage which is CSAT, civil services aptitude test.
Because there are only two languages allowed for the examination and these are Hindi and english.
If you go for the MAINS then there are some optional subjects that you can choose for the examination .
In that there are choices of the language as well and kannada is included in the options.
So that option is basically for the literature so if you are good in kannada literature then you can choose that for qualifying the examination easily.
Well if you see the pattern then you will see that everything is according to your interest.
First there are the optional subjects and then optional languages .

I am completed BA final year degree.. Now i want do IAS exam but i am studying all kannada medium so IAS exam is there kannada medium or what plz tel me.. I am total confuse plz tel me.. And Prepare IAS exam which books refer to which subject to prepare IAS exam plz tel me..
