Indian council for medical research conducts exam for Junior research fellowship every year in july. Information bulletin will be available at icmr.nic.in website. You have to apply online via the above mentioned website.
National Eligibility test (NET) is conducted by UGC twice a year in the month of june and December. Notifications will be available in march and september respectively. for more details and to apply online visit http://ugcnetonline.in
GATE exam is conducted for higher studies in Engineering in IITs,IISC etc. it is conducted once a year by a particular IIT in rotation. THe exam is conducted in 2 modes- offline and online. Generally the exam is conducted in jan/feb month of every year.
SLET is state level eligibility test for recruitment of lecturer posts in various colleges in that state.
