Examination Pattern for Indian Forest Service Examination 2013-14

Preliminary Examination - General Studies and CSAT papers will be there for 400 marks and passing in this test will be necessary for you to be eligible for main examination of Indian Forest Service Examination

Main Examination for IFoS recruitment test

Paper I - English Language - 300 Marks

Paper II - General Knowledge - 300 Marks

Paper III, IV, V and VI will be based on two optional subjects selected by you from the list and you have already selected those subjects - Botany and Agriculture and each of these papers contains 200 marks

Passing in each paper is necessary and we request you that you follow the official syllabus to prepare for this examination and that is why I have attached official notification in that you will get complete and detailed syllabus of each subject asked in this examination so you should download this attachment and collect more details for this exam

This year UPSC board launched around 80 vacancies for IFoS Officer post and preliminary examination has conducted at 26th of May 2013 so you should prepare well for this examination and try to score marks as much as possible because competition is huge and you have to take yourself out as the deserving candidate for that post that is why do not hesitate to give more than 12 hours everyday for study and practice by using good books
