    Dear Friend,

    To become an district magistrate you write in civil services examination.
    This exam is conducts by Union Public Service Commission once in every year.

    For that exam you should be graduate from any recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.

    Your age must be under 21-30 years.

    No percentage barrier for that exam , those candidates are also eligible which just have passing marks in graduation.

    Hello my Dear Friend ...


    To become a DISTRICT MAGISTRATE .. you must first

    Have a Minimum of GRADUATION from a recognized university


    And also you must have to write the
    "" CIVIL SERVICE APTITUDE TEST ""

    You will need to Qualify the


    <> Written Test

    <> Personal Interview...


    You will get a Job in I.A.S ..


    So after one or Two Promotions .. you can become "" DISTRICT MAGISTRATE ""

    Dear friend, to become district magistrate you would have to clear the Civil Services Exam conducted by UPSC every year.Your age should be 21-30 years to clear this exam. You should be citizen of India to give this exam. BEST OF LUCK.

    to become a magistrate in district you have to apply for Civil Services exam that is conducted by UPSC every year. you have to clear the three phases of Civil Services exam to become a district magistrate. the three phases are Prelims, Mains and Interview.

    for Civil Services you have graduation degree in any discipline from recognized college or university. your age should be within 21 years to 30 years. there is also relaxation in age upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for Sc/St candidates.

    Limit Number Of Attempts:
    >>General: 4 attempts
    >>OBC: 7 attempts
    >>SC/ST: No Limit

    Hi,
    for becoming a district magistrate you have to clear prestigious Civil Services Exam conducted by UPSC.

    There are some eligibility criteria for appearing this exam:-

    You should have completed your graduation from any recognized university in any stream.

    Final year students in graduation can also apply for the same.

    The age limit is 21-30 years for General candidate(4 attempts) with a relaxation of 3,5 and 5 years for OBC(7 attempts),SC(unlimited attempts) and ST(unlimited attempts) candidates respectively.

    You should be a citizen of India.

    You have to clear the exam with very good rank to get IAS for becoming district magistrate because almost it is first choice of almost all top rankers.

    In order to become an District Magistrate you have to clear Civil Service Examination comducted by UPSC.It is one of the most prestigious examination conducted by UPSC every year.Selection of candidates for this post are done by score obtained by candidates in civil service examination.

    Since it is one of the most reputed post so generally toppers of the examiantion get this service.Keep in mind the score obatined by you in Prelimanary examiantion is of qualifying nature and it is of not taken in account while calculating your final score and score obatined in written examiantion and interview test are taken in account.

    hi friend,

    to become a district magistrate you have to appear in the civil services examination conducted by the upsc.upsc stands for the union public service commission.it conducts the examination for various services/posts at all india level

    alternatively you can also write the state public service commission examination also to become district magistrate. so you have to write your state pcs exam to get in to the service.

    as far as the upsc exam is concerned the examination for this year has already been over.so you can start preparation for the next year examination.

    according to the schedule relased by the upsc next year prelims exam will be conducted on august 24th.so plan your preparation accordingly.the examination process will take one year to get completed.

    the examination is a three stage process comprising of prelims,mains,interview etc..
