Hi,
dear friend there is no specific physical requirement for IES officer post but yes you should be physically and mentally fit to successfully complete your duty.

Some of other requirements for IES examination are :-

1.You should be a citizen of India.

2.The age limit is 21-30 years for Generalcandidates with a relaxation in age of 3,5 and 5 years for OBC,SC and ST candidates respectively.

3.You should have passed your graduation in Engineering from any engineering stream and from a government recognized university.

4.You have to appear for examination opting any of given 4 engineering streams to qualify the exam with the stream selected from given below 4 streams:-

Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication
Civil Engineering

i have completed B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering
Am I not eligible to give IES Exam??

Not physical requirement are compulsory for IES exam only these thing are require for IES exam below mention:-

1. Should be graduate degree from recognized university.
2. Should be age 21-30 yrs.
3. Should be citizen of India.

this exam consists three stages;-

-*9-preliminary exam

-mains exam

THERE IS NO PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT FOR IES EXAM ..

YOU HAVE TO BE A B.TECH FROM ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING BRANCHES..

1.CIVIL
2.ELECTRICAL
3.ELECTRONICS
4.MECHANICAL


upsc exams are based on some qualifications,


AGE LIMITS,..

GENERAL>>>21 to 30 yrs
OBC>>>21 to 33 yrs
SC/ST>>>21 to 35 yrs



EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION...

A passed graduation degree from any RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY.....
