For that examination you should be graduate in engineering , and also can apply in last year of engineering graduation. Your age must be under 21-30 years. Every engineering graduates are eligible but things is that you can select any one subject IES exam - Electronic and Telecommunication Mechanical Civil Electrical Good Luck....

To join IES exam, You must be a Engineering graduate from a recognized university. >> Your age should be between 21-30 years. You must be citizen of India. Re: Is a candidate having M.Sc degree in electronics eligible for Indian Engineering Services exam/recruitment? dear aspirant, i am extremely sorry to say that being a M.SC holder in Electronics you are not eligible to write IES(Indian Engineering Services) Exam. for IES you need Engineering degree in any discipline from recognized college or University. So you can't apply for IES exam. for IES the required age limit is 21 years to 30 years on 1 January of the exam and there is relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for Sc/ST candidates. but if you want then you can apply for other UPSC exams like Civil Services, CPF, CDS, IFS etc. Civil Services exam is conducted for the posts in IAS, IPS, IRS etc. CPF exam is conducted for the central police services. CDS exam is conducted for the posts in INA, IAF, IMA, OTA. IFS exam is conducted for the posts in forest department. for more detail visit: http://www.upsc.gov.in/ Good Luck........

Every year conduct this exam. Totally 9 papers on this exams. 3 stages on this exam. @ Preminaraly, @ Main exam, @ Interview, Eligibility : Candidate must complete any one bachelor degree on recognized university. candidate must on INDIAN citizen. Age between on 21----30. Candidates complete thease branches you are eligible in IES Exam. @ Electronic, @ Electrical, @ Mechanical, @ Civil.

Apart from B.E/B.Tech, Candidates with M.Sc Electronics are eligible for IES exam. But the eligibility is restricted as you will not get all the services stated under Electronics and Telecommunication engg. You will have a very few (1 or 2) services for selection. You must have M.Sc in Electronics or Wireless communications OR Radio Physics OR Radio Engineering to be eligible for IES. Check any archived notification of IES in the website of UPSC to understand in details.Visit upsc.gov.in

Hello The eligibility criteria for applying in Indian Engineering Services Exams is A degree in engineering in any discipline or M.SC with wireless communications,Radio physics,Radio engineering. You can apply,but will have to apply for civil,mechanical,electrical,electronics and communication. No percentage criteria,only degree with pass marks is required. IES have no restriction in the number of attempts for any category. As long the criteria are fulfilled,one can apply for IES. Hey Yes you can apply for the IES exam if your graduation as well as masters in engineering. The minimum eligibility for the IES exam is that you must have atleast bachelor degree in engineering from the following streams:- --Mechanical --Electrical --Electronics and communicative --Civil engineering Your age for the exam must lies in between 21-30 years. relaxation is also given to the reserved category candidate. you must be Indian you have done engineering in Electronics and communication so you can apply for the exam. Dear friend, with M.Sc degree in electronics you can appear in IES examination but only for few services from the entire canvas of services in IES. According to advertisement by UPSC for IES examination you can get only below mentioned jobs:- "Provided that a candidate for the post of Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engineering Posts) and Engineer, Gr. 'A' in Wireless Planning & Coordination Wing/ Monitoring Organisation may possess any of the qualification mentioned below namely:- M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject."
