you are allowed to apply for FOLLOWING examinations conducted by upsc .

see the lists of examinations .

1. INDIAN CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION.

2. CENTRAL RESERVED POLICE FORCE.

3. COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICES.


NOW LET US DISCUSS ABOUT THE EXAMS IN WHICH YOU MAY APPLY .


1. Indian civil services examination.


* this is the common examination for almost all the civil services conducted by upsc every year.

* the basic requirement for the examination is that the candidate must be an Indian citizen as their foreign candidates are no
allowed to give the examination and the other one is that the candidate must have a degree of graduation in any field or stream
with a govt recognized university.(final year candidates are also eligible for the examination.)

* the age required for the examination is in between 21-30 years and the age relaxation for obc and sc/st category aspirants of 3 and 5 yrs respectively .


2. Central Police force examination

* this exam is for joining police department to become an police officer.

* in this examination the educational qualification requirement is graduation and the age requirement is in between 20-25 yrs.
and the age relaxations are same as the above examination.

3. Combined defense services examination .

* this is also require a graduation degree .

* there are different age criteria according to the choices like:-

# for Indian naval academy- 19-22 yrs.
# for Indian Air force- 19-23 yrs.
# for Indian military academy-19-24 yrs.
# for Officers training academy-19-25 yrs.

so these are the exams you can apply only if you fulfilling the requirements .

after completing M.Sc in computer science you can apply for the following list of exams that are conducted by UPSC.

List of exams in which you can apply:
>>Civil Services Exam
>>CPF
>>CDS

Civil Services exam is conducted for the posts of IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS etc.

CPF exam is conducted for the posts in Police department.

CDS exam is conducted for the posts in Defence. CDS exam is conducted for the wings like INA, IAF, IMA, OTA.

Age limit:
>> Civil Services:
your age should be within 21 years to 30 years. there is applicable relaxation in upper age upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/St candidates.

>> CPF:
your age should be within 20 years to 25 years. there is also available relaxation in upper age of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for Sc/St candidates.

>> CDS
>INA: within 19 years to 22 years
>IAF: within 19 years to 23 years
>IMA: within 19 years to 24 years
>OTA: within 19 years to 25 years
