efinitely there will be training. What do you think a 17-18 year old kid is ready to plan and fight against terrorist or Enemy just like this????
You will be trained physically and that will be rigorous training.
You will be educated in nearly all the subjects that you have ever heard of in school.
You will be awarded degree of Graduation after successful completion of training.
It is a very prestigious matter to get into NDA. It is actually meant for education and proper grooming of young recruits of all the 3 wings.
You can check more about NDA and its inside at the website of NDA at At 12th level there is no other exam for getting into defence than NDA. There is TES i.e Technical Entry Scheme but that is not a written exam.Candidates with above 70% marks in PCM need to apply and after shortlisting few candidates based on their marks in 12th exam,they are called for direct SSB.The age limit for TES is 16.5-19.5years.

After Graduation there are plenty of exams and entry schemes for Defence services based on your stream of graduation the prime being CDS,AFCAT,SSC Technical,SSC Non technical,TGC,UES etc etc.
