Dear There,

Candidates can join Indian Air force by taking up NDA examinations but you are not eligible to take this examination. You can join air force by taking CDS examination. The UPSC conducts this examination every year twice in the months of February and August to recruit candidates in the following Wings of Indian Defense.

* Indian Military Academy

* Naval Academy

* Indian Air force Academy

* Officer's Training Academy

The eligibility criteria for CDS examination are:

* Graduation in any stream from a recognized college / university with at least 45% marks.

* Candidates willing to join Airforce Academy / Naval Academy must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

* Citizenship - Indian.

* Sex - Male / Female

now at the age of 19 years you cannot apply for the NDA exam, but now you can apply for the CDS exam that is ben conducted by the upsc twice in an year.
But being a BCA candidate you cannot apply for it, because for chosing the air force in the CDS exam, it is mandatory for you t be having physics and mathematics as your main subjects in graduation, and by no means BCA includes physics and mathematics, therefore you ar not eligible for the air force wing, but you can apply for the navy and army wings.

As you have crossed the age of 19 then you have the only option after the graduation and that will be CDS examination.
CDS stands for the combined defence services examination, if you like to apply for this then make sure that it comes 2 times in a year so you can apply for the both if you are not sure in the first chance to qualify the same.
So for applying the CDS you must have physics and maths in graduation for the air force academy as this requires the same.
Age required to apply for the air force academy is 19 to 23 years .
If you also like to join navy then 19 to 22 years of age is required.
Selection procedure of this examination include the written test and that will be consist of the syllabus of the physics chemistry and maths.
After that there will be the SSB interview and that will be of seven days that you need to qualify to go for the medical examination.
Final step for the selection is medical examination.
If you like to apply for the flying branch of the air force then you must apply for the AFCAT examination.
AFCAT stands for the air force common admission test
To apply for the same you need to be graduate in physics and maths with 60% in aggregate.
Your age needs to be 19 to 23 years.
If you like to apply for the ground duty branch then you must have the graduation in any discipline for the administration department.
Age required to apply for the same is 20 to 23 years for the same.

sir....i m 19 yrs old ..and i m in BCA 1st year...with math physics ...am i eligible for our indian air force .....if yes ..then what is the process to take addmission on air force ..please help me
