    dear aspirant,


    yes, you are eligible to apply for SCRA exam while appearing in 12th. SCRA stands for Special Class Railways Apprentice Exam. The exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

    The candidates who clears the exam with high grade appointed for various posts in Indian Railways. Excellent pay is given to candidates who are appointed in Railways.

    for SCRA you must have completed or pursuing in 12th with Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry from recognized Board or college.

    for SCRA your age must be within 17 years to 21 years. there is also applicable relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST aspirants.

    Important dates of SCRA exam in 2014:

    date of notification: 05.10.2013
    last date of receipt of application: 04.11.2013

    date of exam: 12.01.2014

    No a Class XII appearing candidate is not eligible for appear in Special Class Railway Apprentices(SCRA) Examination.

    For appear in SCRA candidate have to pass Class XII or Equivalent examination.

    ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION FOR SCRA:

    # Candidate have to pass Class XII or equivalent examination from any recognized board.

    # Candidate must have Mathematics and any one of Physics or Chemistry subject in 10+2.

    # Candidate have to pass Class XII board examination with either first or Second division.

    # Candidate who have obtain graduation in Mathematics can are eligible for SCRA.

    # candidate who have pas first year of five years Engineering course are eligible.

    # Candidate who hold diploma in any subject from any state or central government organization are NOT eligible for SCRA.

    AGE LIMIT:

    # Age of the candidate must be at least 17 years and must not exceed 21 years as on 1st January of the year of Examination.

    # For SC/ST candidate upper limit of age is 26 years.

    # For OBC candidates Upper limit of age is 24 years.

    NATIONALITY:

    # Candidate have to a citizen of India or subject of Nepal or Bhutan.

    Yes , you are eligible for SCRA exam.

    For that exam you should have to pass your 12th and also 12th appearing students are eligible.

    Age Limit :- 17-21 years.

    Nationality :- Indian

    Gender :- Male/Female

    Religion :- All religion candidates are eligible.

    Definitely you are eligible to appear for the SCRA exam

    S.C.R.A --- SPECIAL CLASS RAILWAY APPRENTICE EXAM

    This SCRA exam is conducted by the
    " Union Public Service Commission "

    You must have a minimum of
    " 12th " class from a recognized university

    12th Class appearing candidates are also eligible to appear for the exam

    You must be an
    Indian Citizen


    The minimum age that you must have attained the age of the
    " 17 " years ..

    And it must not have attained the age of
    " 21 " years

    The Upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable for the reserved candidates


    So you must have the First or Second division .. in the

    " Intermediate or an Equivalent Examination " of a University or Board approved by the Government of India

    You must have the
    MATHEMATICS and At least one of the Subjects PHYSICS and CHEMISTRY as subjects of the examination


    You are
    Undoubtedly eligible to appear for the exam
