dear aspirant,


i am extremely sorry to say that pre final year graduation students are not eligible to apply for CSAT exam. you can only apply for CSAT while studying in final year of graduation or after completing graduation from recognized college or University.

IRS stands for Indian Revenue Services. to become an IRS officer you have to write Civil Services exam that is conducted by UPSc every year. Civil Services exam is conducted in three phases:
1. CSAT(Prelims)
2. Mains
3. Interview

CSAT stands for Civil Services Aptitude Test. CSAT is conducted only for the selection of the candidates for Mains exams. candidates are appointed for the posts through Mains and Interview.

your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
