You are NOT ELIGIBLE to appear for the Exam

Congratulations for the Successful completion of the " Diploma In Mechanical Engineering "


As you are willing to Join C.D.S you are not allowed to give for the Exam Right now ..

So for that you must HAVE COMPLETED MINIMUM OF DEGREE OF A RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY OR EQUIVALENT ..

Or else the Final year candidates are also eligible to appear for the exam


YOU MUST HAVE TO FIRST COMPLETE THE " BACHELOR DEGREE " FROM A RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY ..


Through CDS exam you can get in to the

<> Officer's Training Academy

<> Air Force Academy

<> Naval Academy

<> Indian Military Academy .. etc.,


The minimum age must be " 19 " years

Maximum age is allowed up to " 25 " years

TRY TO COMPLETE THE GRADUATION FIRST .. For that you can Join B.E / B.Tech ( Mechanical Engineering )

DIPLOMA DEGREE IS NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES(CDS) examination.

In order to apply for Officers Training Academy(OTA) in CDS candidate have to obtain graduation or equivalent degree form recognized University in any discipline.

But unfortunately Diploma degree is not equivalent to graduation.

QUALIFICATION FOR CDS IN OTA:

Minimum academic Qualification-

>> Must obtain graduation or equivalent degree form recognized University in any discipline.

>> Final year degree student are also eligible for CDS.

Age Limit:

>> Must born after 1st January/July 1990 and before 2nd January/July 1996.

Nationality:

>> Indian or subject of Nepal or Bhutan or Tibetan refugee who came India permanently before 1st January.

Fitness:

>> Candidate have to Physically fit.

Also you cannot apply for other UPSC examinations like IAS,IPS,IES exams.

It will be better for you if you apply for other government jobs or apply for Non government companies.

## UPSC conducts Combined Defence Services(CDS) exam to recruit the candidates in Indian Military Academy,Indian Navy Academy,Indian AirForce Academy & Officers Training Academy
## Minimum educational qualification required to apply for IMA,OTA is Graduation & for INA is Degree in engineering & for IAF is Degree(with maths,physics at 10+2 level)/Engineering degree from recognised institution
## Age limit to apply for
~>IMA is 19-24 years
~>INA is 19-22 years
~>IAF is 19-23 years
~>OTA is 19-25 years
## And the candidate must be physically,medically fit as per Defence regulations

dear friend,

Sorry to say that after completin diploma in Mechanical Engineering you can't apply for CDS(OTA) Exam. For CDS OTA you need to complete graduation.
UPSC conduct CDS exam for the posts in Indian Defence. through CDS you can join INA, IAF, IMA and OTA. UPSC conduct CDS exam two times in a year.

But After diploma in Mechanical Engineering you can apply for NDA exam. which is conducted for three wings Army, Navy and Air Force wings.

Eligibility Criteria For NDA-2013:


>>12th with Mathematics and Physics/Chemistry.
>>your age must be within 2 July 1995 and 1 January 1998.


Important Dates for NDA-II exam in 2013:-


Date of Notification:-04/05/2013
Last Date of Filling Application:-03/06/2013
Date of Exam:- 11/08/2013.




Eligibility Criteria for CDS:


Educational qualification
for INA and Air force: B.Sc or Engineering degree
for OTA and IMA: graduation with any subjects
Age Limit:
for INA: 19 years to 22 years
for IAF: 19 years to 23 years
for IMA: 19 years to 24 years
for OTA: 19 years to 25 years

date of notification=25-05-2013
last date of receipt of application form=24-06-2013
date of exam=8-09-2013

Dear,
The minimum qualification for the CDS of the UPSC is to pass the Bachelor degree in any discipline at any recognized university. So as the student of the Diploma, you are not eligible to appear the examination. So, you have to complete successfully the B.tech in any recognized university. But you should also keep the attention on the age limit. The age should not be more than 24 years for OTA. To know more please visit www.upsc.gov.in Thanks...

no dear you are not eligible for combined defence services examination since you have not finished your graduation yet.
the eligibility criteria for cds exam is a graduation degree from an ugc recognised university, first finish your graduation then apply for the exam.
