Donot worry,Biotechnology is included one of the streams that is valid for the UPSC exams but as we all know that bachelor's degree is minimum educational qualification.

For giving UPSC exams ,you must have bachelor's degree in Biotechnology.



the certain other criteria is that

Your age should be between 21-30 years.

>>You should be an Indian.

The no of attempts as per category:

For general :4

For obc: 7

For sc/st: no limit.

NOTE: You to start your preparation right now or you can join some of the good institutions like:

>>TIME

>>Chanakya's Academy

>>Rao's Academy

>>Vajiram and Ravi Academy.

yes dear you are eligible for upsc exam being a biotechnology student. you can apply for upsc exam after completing your course or in your final year according to the new eligibility criteria to apply for upsc exams .but your graduation must be form a recognized institute under ugc and your age should lie between 21-30 year.
if you are sc/st or a obc aspirant then you will awarded an age relaxation of 5 years and 3 years respectively.

before applying for upsc exam make sure that you prepare well for thae exam as there are limited amount of attempts for the general category and obc aspirants .
for general category there are only 4 attempts
for obc category there are only 7 attempts.

Yes friend you can absolutely eligible to give any exam under upsc sector
Why because you completed your graduation successfully
See upsc wants only graduates or being a final year students to
apply for any upsc exam
And also do not bother about your percentage of marks..they do not need
The following degrees also may apply for any upsc exam
B.TECH
B.SC
B.A
B.E
B.PHARM
Similarly master degrees also applicable to any exam
But your age could be between 21 to 30 years
Age relaxation also applicable for backward candidates i.e.,
For bc's and sc's the relaxation will be up to 3 and 5 years
There is no relaxation for general candidates

Yes the biotechnology candidates are allowed for the exam

As for the upsc exams like common defence services exam

And the civil services exam the candidate just need to be pass

In graduation from a recognized Indian university

And it does not matter from which stream you have passed your graduation

For the upsc civil services exam Criteria:

-The candidate must be pass in Graduation from a recognized Indian university

-The candidate of the final year of graduation are also eligible

-The aspirant age must be between 21-30

-And for obc 21-33

-And for sc,st 21-35

-For the ph 21-40

yes you are eligible, any graduate can apply for upsc exam, but the degree should be ugc recognized,it should b3 years degree not diploma.age limit is between 21 -30.3yrs age relaxation to obc candidates and 5yrs for sc and st candidates.all the best.

Eligibility criteria for exams conducted by upsc:

1. Candidate must have completed graduation or engineering from a recognized university .
2. candidates who appearing in final year of graduation or engineering can also apply for the upsc exams.
3. age limit for the upsc exams is 21 to 30 years.
4. age relaxation of 3 years is given to those candidates who belongs to OBC category .
5. age relaxation of 5 years is given to those candidates who belongs to sc category.
