UPSC Stands for the Union Public Service Commission . upsc conducts examination for the jobs in the central government while the MPSC conducts examination for the jobs in the state government of MAHARASHTRA . the eligibility criteria to apply for these examination are almost same for both the forums. age limits for the examinations conducted by UPSC as well as by MPSC are also same . the standard and the competition of the UPSC examinations is much higher than the examination conducted by MPSC. only the aspirants of MAHARASHTRA are eligible to apply for the MPSC examination while for the examination conducted by upsc the aspirants all over INDIA can apply.

UPSC is a central level Public service commisssion, While MPSC is a state level Public service commission. well, UPSC conducts examinations based for Central level. Civil services are one among those exam conducted by UPSC . MPSC is another similar exam held at state level. All states in India conduct civil services exams to select deserving candidates to be absorbed in various departments of the state. The vacancies available in the service are filled up by the respective government . UPSC is conducted by the central government with the exam the vacancies available in the administrative, police, foreign, forest service are filled other than that one is admitted to navy, army and airforce by the commission only. MPSC is service commission in Maharastra which recruits aspirants to the various disciplines namely village officer, revenue officer, district magistrate,sub inspector etc The eligibility for the post are different and one need to apply as accordingly. Also the salary paid to those in central government is higher than that paid by the state government .

Both Exam provide an opportunity to get into the administration through the various departments of the government. One advantage of MPSC is that you are competing with lesser number of candidates and that too from your own state whereas in the case of UPSC you get much more competition at an all india level. UPSC is an all India organisation while MPPSC is a State ruled body. The difference between these bodies is that MPPSC conducts Exam for Civil services posts in Madhya pradesh ; other than those to be filled by the UPSC . Like MPPSC each state has it's own exam conducting body for several civil services in the State.

My Dear Aspirant Mpsc stands for the Maharasthra Publice service commission And on the other hand the upsc Stands for the Union Public Service Commission And my friend mpsc is recruiting for only maharasthra and for Their local state only on the other hand upsc is a central level Test and recruitment will take place from whole over the country As the educational qualification is same for both of these exam But their is little bit change in the age limits As for mpsc it is 21-33 On the other hand in upsc it is 21-30 But the main difference is the state and central level exam Best of luck

Every state also conduct various examination for higher and other posts to recruit the number of candidates. MPSC is also a state level examination and it is conduct by maharastra state. Many other state also conduct their examination like Rajasthan ,uttar -pradesh and many other states. So, Basic Difference is UPSC is National Level Examination and Others are State level Examination.
