As you are the current employee so that you will not get any age relaxion in CSE exam .
If you are ex-serviceman then and then you will get benefit but otherwise not .
The age criteria for the exam is below :
21-30 for general cast
21-33 for obc cast
21-35 for sc/st cast
21-40 for physically handicapped

As your age will become 30 in this year and if you are belong to general cast then you are not eligible for the exam .
But otherwise you are eligible .
So if you are eligible then give the exam .

dear friend,

in 2012 last date of submission of application form for Civil Services is already gone. So you can't Apply for Civil Services Exam in 2012. and in 2013 you are of 31 years. and if you are from general category you can't apply for Civil Services and if you are from SC/ST or OBC you can apply for Civil services Exam.

Eligibility Criteria :

1. Graduation in any field.
2. Your age must be within 21 years to 30 years and there is relaxation in upper age limit: 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.


there is 5 years of age relaxation for central government employ not for state government employ.
