Re: Are there any optional subjects related IT or CSE? hello friend there is no subject for the it and cse. you took the humanities subject like as history,public administrator, and other number of the subject whichis given in the subject list. you check the website www.upsc.gov.in good luck

Re: Are there any optional subjects related IT or CSE? In upsc mains exam you can find 51 optional subjects in which 25 are of main subjects and 26 are language subjects. In these subjects there is no any IT subjects. You can see in the list Agriculture, Mathematics, Medical Science, Law and general science, commerce and Arts subjects. So you will have to choose two subject in given list of optional subject Agriculture Animal husbandry & vetinary science Anthropology Botany Chemistry Civil engineering Commerce and accountancy Economics Geography Indian History Management Mathematics Mechanical engineering Medical science Philosophy Physics Political science & international relations Psychology Sociology Statistics Zoology Required qualification for CSE You must be graduate in any stream Final year students are also eligible to apply Your age should be between 21 to 30 years Age relaxation as per government norms SC/ST + 5 years and OBC + 3 years You must be Indian.
