If you are in your final year currently, then you can fill the application for 2013 exam which will be conducted in may 2013. Notification for the exam will be issued in 2013 january or february.
since you are studying a medicinal course, you have to complete both your practical and theoretical exams before applying for mains exam ( approximately mains exam application will be in last week of august). You should submit a proof that you have passed in both theory and practical exams at the time of applying for mains exam. Failing which you will not be permitted to attend mains exam.
Similarly before appearing fro personality test or interview, you should provide a proof that you have completed your compulsory internship and a letter from your institute that you have cleared all requirements for the award of a medical degree.

final year student are also eligible for all graduation based exam under upsc .
so dear you are eligible for USPC Civil Services Exam being a final year student of BAMS and you can surely fill the form for civil services under upsc this year also if your age is between 21-30 years .and if you are a obc or a sc/st applicant then this age will be relaxed for 3 and 5 years respectively.

You are eligible to write the civil service exam

As the final year candidates are allow to sit in the exam

Education Qualification:

- The candidate must be pass in graduation

- Or Either the final year candidates are also allowed for the exam

Age Limit:

- For General : 21-30

- For OBC : 21-33

- For SC,ST : 21-35

Number of Attempts:

- For The General Category: 04

- For the OBC Category : 07

- For The sc,ts Category : Unlimited

Being a final year student of BAMS you are eligible to fill the application form for civil service exam any time.

BAMS is assumed equivalent of graduation.


Your age should be 21 to 30 years as general candidates

For SC/ST age should be 21 to 35 years.

For OBC age should be 21 to 33 years.

You must be Indian.

4 attempt for General candidates

7 attempt for OBC candidates

No limit for SC/ST candidates

You can appear the UPSC CSAT examination as a final year student of your degree course. Because the qualification is to pass or appear the Bachelors degree at any recognized university in any discipline. So you can apply for the CSAT, if your result will be published before the publication of the final result of the CSAT. you should also think over the age limit. The age limit is 21-30years. The upper age limit is 03years for OBC and 05years for SC/ST candidates. Thanks...
