CBSE stands for Central Board for Secondary Education. so CBSE belongs to education.

UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commision. so UPSC belongs to job.

and also some other difference is,

CBSE will conduct exams for 10th standard, 12th standard etc

    and

UPSC will conduct exams for NDA, UDC, SCRA etc.

    I think u understand

    dear friend,

don't get confused between these two terms UPSC and CBSE. Both are totally different bodies.

CBSE stands for Central Board Of Secondary Education.
UPSC stands for Union Public Services Commission.

CBSE deals with education. It is responsible for lower class to 12th class syllabus and exams at center level. It also conduct AIEEE exam to get admission in B.Tech/B.E and AIPMT to get admissions in medical colleges in India.

UPSC deals with recruiting the candidates in various government jobs i.e. IAS, IPS, IFS, Navy, Air Force, Railways, Army, Police etc.
UPSC conducts various UPSC exam i.e. Civil Services, NDA, SCRA, CPF, IES, CMS, CDS etc.

Re: Are CBSE and UPSC same? What is the difference between these two bodies?

    Dear Student,
-UPSC and CBSE are not the same at all.
-The UPSC stands for UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.It is a body which conducts various examinations throughout the year, for recruitment of exams in the prestigious,Civilian posts of the country including Defence,Administration,Police,Foreign Services,Postal Services,Revenue Services,Railways,Forest Services,Geologists,Statistical Services, etc.
-The various exams conducted by the UPSC are-
    # NDA EXAMS.
    # CDS EXAMS.
    # SCRA EXAMS.
    # CIVIL SERVICE EXAMS.
    # INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE EXAMS.
    # INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE EXAMS.
    # CENTRAL POLICE FORCE EXAMS.
    # INDIAN FOREIGN SERVICE EXAMS.
    # COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICE EXAMS.
    # GEOLOGISTS EXAMS.
-The UPSC manages these exams, and conducts them throughout the country.

ON THE OTHER HAND,CBSE stands for CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION.
-It looks after the education of students from primary to secondary level. It also develops rules for the well being of the candidates.
-The primary exams conducted by the body are Class 10th Board exams,Class 12th Board exams and the All India Engineering Entrance Exams(AIEEE) exams.

CLEARLY,IT CAN BE CONCLUDED THAT WHILE CBSE IS A BODY WHICH FORMS THE FUTURE BY EDUCATING STUDENTS AT PRIMARY LEVEL,THE UPSC ON THE OTHER HANDS TAKES THE RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVISIONS THESE STUDENTS WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO BLOSSOM AT HIGHEST LEVEL WITH THE BEST JOBS IN THE BAG.
    -Hope this Helps.

Re: Are CBSE and UPSC same? What is the difference between these two bodies?

    dear candidate

cbse = central board of school education

upsc = union public service commission

both are not the same bodies.

The central board of school education deals in study from 1st class to higher class

the upsc conduct the exams for the various post according to its prescribed time.

Central board of school education helps students in pursuing their study from a lower class to 12th class
    but
upsc organize exams on the behalf of various government departments.
