Well you are eligible for writing UPSC (Union Public Service) Exam after completing B.SC with Biology.

There are many civil service exams like IAS(Indian Administrative Service) ,IPS (Indian Police Service) ,IFS (Indian Forest Service),CDS (Combined Defence Service) etc.All these exams were conducted by UPSC for different levels.

The following are the eligible criteria for writing this exam

�� You must be an Indian citizen.

�� You should complete your bachelor degree from a recognised University

No percentage is required if candidate just have passing marks in graduation then eligible for civil services examination.

NDA Exam
CSAT Exam
IES Exam

If you have completed Graduation, you can apply for civil services exam.

If you have done Engineering, you can apply for IES Exam.

As you have completed B.Sc with Biology, you can apply for civil services exam so that you can join

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Civil Service Exams 2013 :

Educational Qualifications : Candidate must posses/hold a bachelor/graduate degree or any other equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks, and 45% marks for SC/STs from a recognized university

Age Limitations : Candidates must be between 21-30 years of age but if you belong to SC/ST category then you can get the upper age relaxation for 5 years and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

Indian Government also provide upper age relaxation for PWDs which is 10 years and Ex-Servicemen for 5 years.

If you have above described qualification then you can apply for UPSC Exams.

If you are talking about UPSC civil services exams than below is the eligibilty to appear for the same:
Graduation pass from a ugc recognised university
Min age-21 years
Max age-30 years
OBC gets 3 years and sc/st 5 years age relaxation

Number of attempts-4 for general and 7 for obc and no restriction for sc/st

so if you meet the above eligibilty surely you can apply
next upsc prelims exams will be held in may 2013 and forms wil come out in feb 2013

First, you need to know what is UPSC.


UPSC is Union Public Service Commission which conducts many exams in which Civil Service Exam(CSE) is one of them.


CSE has a misnomer as 'IAS exam' or 'UPSC exam'.


Yes, you're definitely eligible to write the CSE.

All you need is graduation in order to write the CSE.

Age limits:

General : 21-30yrs

OBC : 21-33yrs

SC/ST : 21-35yrs

Sure, You can apply for UPSC csat examination as a student of B.sc. The qualification is to pass or appear the bachelors degree in any stream at any recognized university. So you can surely apply for the CSAT examination. So work hard and Prepare for it. Best of Luck

Oh sure, You can apply for the UPSC exams.because the minimum qualification of this exam is Any bachelor degree so that's why you can apply for this examination.

UPSC stands for Union public service commission and this examination is conducted by every year,and it is also conducted many competitive exams in india like.

combined defence service exam
central police force exam

you can also apply for SSC exams like

combined graduate level exam

there is no problem for the graduation stream, upsc required only the graduate candiate in any stream for the recognized university which is approved by the ugc/aicet.

for the ciivil service exam required graduation in any stream

For the cds exam:-

for the ota and indian miltary academy the qualification is required graduation in any stearm.

but for the indian air force and naval the qualification is required graduation with science subject

After B.Sc in Biology you are eligible for UPSC exams

Eligibility criteria required for UPSC exam:

Age Limit: - The candidate should be minimum 21 years of age and the maximum age is 30 years.

Educational Qualification: - The candidate should have a degree completed from any of the institutes established by an Act of Parliament or any University deemed by the University Grant Commission under section 3, Act, 1956.

yes, you can definitely apply for UPSC exams. for UPSC you need only graduation in any field.

Eligibility Criteria:
for UPSC exams you must complete or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university.

your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.

And there is relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates(3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).

• The primary eligiblity to write these exams you must have a degree
  
• with any percentage in any stream from any university
  
• The age should be between 19 to 30 years
  
• UPSC also offers age relaxation i.e.,
  
• For bc's they are providing up to 3 years relaxation
  
• For sc/st's they are providing up to 5 years relaxation

Yes you are eligible for the UPSC Exams after doing B.Sc. with Biology.

But you have to note certain points:-

1.You are eligible for the Exams which require a graduation degree.
2.You should have done your graduation from a recognized college.
3.You should follow other eligibility norms( like age limit etc.)

yes why not you can apply for CIVIL SERVICE EXAM WHICH IS CONDUCTED BY UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION EVERY YEARS

THE BRANCHES INCLUDE IN CIVIL SERVICE EXAM ARE IAS,IPS,IFS and others

as a science student,you have biology which is a combination botany and zoology,so you have a choice to choose based on your subjects,it would be easy for you to prepare for the exam.

civil service exam consists of

1)civil service preliminary exam=objective based questions

2)civil service mail exam=written exam followed by interview for the selected candidates

age required=21-30 years

qualification=bachelor degree from a recognized degree

nationality=should be an Indian

**civil service main exam is on 05-10-2012
