Yes, you can apply for UPSC Civil Services Exam at the age of 27 years. as you have completed Engineering you can definitely apply for the exam.


Eligibility Criteria:

1. Graduation in any stream.

2. Age Limit:

1. General: 21 to 30 years on 1st august of the year of exam.

Yes you can.....

only metter is you have to be graduate...

you should follow some criterias as follow...

you have to be graduate with passing marks from approved university or college.

you have to be an indian

age limit.....
for open 21 to 30
for onc 21 to 33
for sc st 21 to 35

no of attempts
for open 4 attempts
for obc 7 attempts
for sc st no limit...

yes you can definitely apply for upsc civil services exam. as you are graduate and your age 27 years that fulfilled the basic eligibility to apply for upsc civil services exam .
you need not to worry about your percentage as there is percentage bar for upsc aspirants.
for civil services exam the required age limit is 21-30 years for general category aspirants ,12-33 years for obc category aspirants , and 21-35 years for sc/st category aspirants.

You are fully applicable for the upsc civil services examination. The minimum and maximum age for upsc is 21 to 30 years on the month of August of exam year. Means if you want to appear in upsc 2013 then you have to 21 to 30 years old at the month of August 2013.

If you are general category student then you can apply for exam 4 times. But this information you don't need because you can now only apply for exam for 3 years. Best of luck.
