GPSC stands for GUJARAT PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION who conducts exams at the state level only,

where as UPSC(UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION) conducts exams at the central level.

Re: What is the difference between GPSC and UPSC examination?

    Dear,
The GPSC stands for Gujurat Public Service Commission and UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission. Both the commission conduct various types of Competitive examination for the Government posts. But the GPSC conducts the competitive examinations for its state government posts and the UPSC conducts the examinations for the Central Government posts. The qualification for the both commission is equal but the age may vary. Thanks....
