Re: How IAS is related to UPSC? Hello Dear Attachment 3385 I.A.S Civil service exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (U.P.S.C) under the mere guidance and supervision of Ministry of Human Resource Development. So Both of them are very much closely related to each other.Well I.A.S is the most prestigious post in our country. U.P.S.C takes the charge for conducting this civil service exam every year for the graduates in different streams. However one has to satisfy the minimum eligibility norms set by them. Attachment 3386 Since the posts for which an I.A.S qualified candidate is applicable is normally comes under central Govt category. So one can clearly expect better allowances and perks tagged with the salary. But mind you, the competition is really very stiff for this examination. So one has to be seriously good in studies to be able to crack this exam. See there are mainly three stages one has to overcome for getting qualified in this exam. STAGES: # Preliminary # Mains # Interview I hope you are clear now.So start preparing for this C.S.A.T examination seriously.Anyways best of luck for a bright future . Regards Anna
