Dear friend

There is no latest update about the CSAT examinations.CSAT stands for Civil services aptitude test



This examination is conducted by UPSC (union public service commission) for selection of candidates for the very respectable and prestigious post like IAS ,IPS,IFS etc.

IAS is the Indian Administrative services .

IPS is the Indian Police services.

IFS is the Indian foreign services.


The basic requirements for this type of examinations are:

Gradaution in any stream is necessary from a recognised university.If you have done your graduation in correspondence mode then it must be approved from DEC(distance education council)

Final year gradaution candidates are also eligible to apply for the given examination.

Age limitations:the age for general candidates is 21-30 year, for obc(other backward caste is 21-33 years) and sc/st is 21-35 years.

Information regrading no of attempts :

For general: it is four

For Obc: 7

For sc/st: no limit.

the result is declare by the upsc after 2-3 month when the exam is held. so don't worry your result is declare shortly.

you always update with the www.upsc.gov.in for know about your result.

The latest update is that the CSAT Preliminary result has been declared and the successful candidates now are submitting their DAF for the Main examination. To know it please visit www.upsc.gov.in Thanks....

> CSAT Examination was already completed on 20/05/12 and results has been published on 28/July/12 .

> Those who have qualified in the CSAT Examination and the candidate need to fill the Detailed Application forms Before 21/08/12 .
