If you have a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks or any other equivalent qualification then you can apply for CDS exam but your age should be between 19-25 years and relaxation in age as per government guidelines and if you have a degree in mathematics or electronics or engineering then you can apply for Air Force and Naval Ship services by CDS exam.

If you have very good command over english then you can easily crack the exam but mathematics is also responsible to be selected in this exam.

I have attached some question papers to prepare for Combined Defense Services Exams so please download all and prepare well for exam.

Cds stands for Combined defense service this exam is conducted by union public Service Commission and this examination conducted by twice per year.if you interest to join in defense service Then you can apply in the Any one of the Academy.

Eligibility Criteria For CDS Exam:-

~~Aspirants should be Complete the Bachelor degree from recognized university and there is no minimum percentage of mark for this examination and final year students also eligible for this examination.

~~Aspirants should be Citizen of India.

~~Aspirants age should between 19 to 25 years

~~Aspirants should be Medically fit for the CDS Exam.


You can go this website http://Upsc.gov.in and then in the upper of the web page previous year question paper option are available so you can just click the option then get the Previous year CDS Exam Papers.

for the 10 year examination papers of upsc cds exam you have to log on to www.upsc.gov.in
where you will be able to get the previous 10 year paper and download them easily for yourself .
and then you can use them any way you want to get success in your exam .

CDS Stands for Combined Defence Service Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely CDS I and CDS II.

For recruitment of :-

~~Indian Military Academy
~~Indian Air force Academy
~~Indian Navy Academy
~~Officer Training Academy

CDS stands for Combined Defense Services examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC Twice in a year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course from a recognised university. Eligible candidates may fill the application form online after declaring the notification,You can apply for these given Academy :

~~ Indian Military Academy (IMA)
~~ Naval Academy
~~ Air Force Academy
~~ Officer Training Academy (OTA).

To apply for this examination your age should between 19 to 25 years.

The Notification of CDS (I) 2012 Notification was already Published and the last date of apply for this examination was already Over. So You cant fill the CDS Application form Online. So, Please wait for the CDS (II) Examination Notification and then fill the application form Online. But Before fill the Online application form You have to Remit The fees Online by any one of the Modes.

The application fees of CDS Examination is Rs 100 and you have to pay the fees through :

>> Pay the fees by SBI Debit/Credit Card Online
>> Pay the fees through SBI Net Banking
>> Or Direct Submit fees in SBI Branches
