All you need is to satisfy some basic criteria: 1.you should be Indian. 2. you should have a degree from university recognized by aicte. 3. your age should be in between 21-30 years. Regards...

Can I mention in the application as biomedical engineer or only engineer? you did not mention which UPSC exam, be more specific, there are a lot of exams conducted by UPSC 1) for civil service exam, minimum qualification is a bachelor' degree from any recognized university. so for that exam you can apply as biomedical engineer itself 2) fro indian ENgineering service exam, minimum educational qualification is an engineering degree of any discipline. you can apply as biomedical engineer, but you have to write exam only in 4 subjects namely mechanical, civil, electrical, ECE
