    • No, the minimum qualification for becoming an IAS officer is not class 12th.
    • For it, you must have to complete your bachelor degree in any stream from an recognised university.
    • There is no minimum percentage requirement for it, just having the passing marks would make you eligibile for it.
    • For IAS Officer, you must have to apply for the civil services examination which is conducted by the UPSC.
    • The age of yours must have to be between 21 years to 30 years.
    • Upper age relaxations is provided to reserved category.

    preliminary examination
    mains examination

    followed by an interview.

IAS is an important post of our country so its not easy to become an IAS officer. you need to be fully dedicated towards your goal of becoming an IAS officer.guideline for you in my opinion are

Re: How to become an IAS officer after completing 12th with Commerce?

    Dear candidate,
As you have just about completed your +2,you have a good lot of time left to prepare for the UPSC Exams.
You will be eligible only when you reach the final year of your graduation or complete it,from an UGC Recognized University.
So as of now,you choose your best subject for complying it with graduation and study to its depth.Make sure it lies within the list of optional subject in the UPSC exams.
This subject you opt at graduation and an ARTS Subject, such as INDIAN HISTORY or PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION,will make a perfect combination for you at the MAINS EXAM.
Arts subjects are very scoring and are even the core at preliminary exams. So keep pace with them and all sorts of G.K and current affairs.
This will do good for you.
    Wish you Luck.
