Hi Aspirant,

Yes friend, after completion of BCA you can apply for the post IPS.

IPS post is recruited through Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC.

UPSC conducts Civil Service exam once in a year for the post of IAS, IPS or IRS

This exam is the toughest exam of India and conducted at national Level.


CSE exam consists of three stages.

Prelims

General studies (200 marks)

General English (200 marks)

Mains ( 2000 marks)

YES of course, you can take part in IPS exam after completing BCA course.

IPS:- Indian Administrative Service

To apply for IPS, you have to appear in Civil Service Examination which is organized by upsc once in a year.

UPSC:- Union Public Service Commission


Eligibility Criteria for This Exam:

->You should possesses Graduation degree in any stream from recognized college.

->You can also apply for this exam while pursuing final year of graduation degree.

->Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years if belonging to general category.

->Your age should be in between 21 to 33 years if belonging to OBC category.

->Your age should be in between 21 to 35 years if belonging to ST/SC category.

->You must have an Indian citizenship.

Yes while you are in your final year you can appear for the exam for IPS officer.

In order to become IPS Officer, you will have to crack CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION being conducted by UPSC every year.


ELIGIBILITY FOR IPS:

Academic Qualification:
-One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.
-Candidates who have appeared for final year exams of Graduation course and waiting for the result can also apply for this Exam.

Age criteria:
-One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for this Exam.
-Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category.

If you fulfill all the above mentioned eligibility criteria then you are eligible for the exam.
