    Required Qualification to appear for Civil Services Exam

    -You should have passed Graduation degree in any specialization from recognized Institute.
    -You are for civil service exam while in graduation final year.
    -UPSC Civil service exam has no restriction on graduation percentage.
    -Your Age should be within the limit of 21 to 23 years.
    -You must be a citizen of India.

    YES of course..B.E. in EEE students are eligible to apply for Civil Service Exam. This Exam is organized by Union Public Service Commission:- UPSC once in a year generally in the month of May.

    Through Civil Service Exam you can join various Civil Services of the government of India as mentioned below..

    -Indian Administrative Service.
    -Indian Foreign Service.
    -Indian Police Service.
    -Indian Revenue Service
    -Indian Defence Accounts Service
    -Indian Revenue Service
    etc.



    In order to appear in Civil Service Exam you have to fulfill following Eligibility condition's:-

    ->Candidate must have completed Bachelor degree course in any stream from recognized university.

    ->Candidates appearing/appeared in final year og bachelor degree program are also eligible to apply for this exam.

    ->Candidates Age should be in between 21 and 30 years of age as on August 1 every year for the exam.
    -Relaxations to the age limit are available for 5 years for candidates belonging to the scheduled castes & 3 years for OBC candidates.
    -Relaxation of 3 years is available in the case of Defence Services Personnel disabled in operations

    ->Both male & female candidates are eligible to apply for this exam but must have an Indian citizenship.



    Eligible candidates may apply for this exam online or offline. You can fill Application Form online by using UPSC official website. Or Offline by using common Application Form at Head Post Office. For more detail Click Here

    Civil Service exam has Two Stages:

    -Preliminary Exam
    -Main Examination


    Preliminary Examination Pattern......
    The Preliminary Exam comprises of 2 compulsory papers
    of 200 Marks Each and is of 2 Hours duration,and contains 200 marks.

    --You must have a degree from recognized university .You must have a graduate to appear in this exam.
    --You must have attained the age of 21 years not be over 30 years of age.
    --Final years students are also eligible.Only pass mark is required to attain the test.
    --According to the government of India rules general category candidate can appear 4 times only,OBC can appear 7 times and SC & ST candidate have no limit for appearing .
    --You must be Indian citizen to apply in the Exam.

    Hello,
    If you are a student of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Branch then you can fill up the form of IES examination. i.e. Engineering Service Examination.

    The eligibility criteria for this exam is

    Age limit: Age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st January, 2012 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1982 and not later than 1st January, 1991. (relaxation for SC/ST students)

    Educational Qualification: obtained a degree in Engineering from a recognized University.

    First of all you have to go for the question pattern for this exam at upsc website www.upsc.gov.in
    After that you have to follow the suggested books:
