There is no age relaxation for the candidates who like to join the defence services and this should be kept in mind of the every candidates who is applying for the same.
So those who like to apply should not ever think for the age relaxation.
Yes you can apply for the NDA examination if you are 18 years of age because more than 18.5 will not be able if you apply at the age of 18.5.
Here is the simple criteria for the same as follows-

NDA is an national defence academy examination.
Qualification-
10+2 in any stream to apply for the indian army.
10+2 in physics and mathematics to apply for the air force and navy.
Age should be 16.5 to 19 years of age.
There will be no age relaxation for any candidates.
You shouldnot have any criminal records.
You must be indian by nationality.
girls are not eligible for NDA.
Candidate should be male unmarried.
Selection procedure-
Written test.
SSB interview.
Medical examination.

Friend, for NDA you should have passed XII with PCM . There is no age relaxation in NDA exam. Age limit for it is 16.5-19 years.

For applying for the NDA exam you need to go onto the official website of the upsc, www.upsc.gov.in
Or else you can directly go onto the link
www.upsconline.net
here you will get the forms available of the NDA exam. You can fill it over there. And as far as the relaxation is concerned, there is no relaxation given to the obc and sc/st category students in the military. The eligibility criteria is same for all the aspirants and it says that your age should be in between 16.5-19 years to give the NDA exam.
Therefore you being 18 years of age are eligible to give the exam

You can apply for it online at www.upsconline.nic.in and there is no age relaxation given in nda ..

And otherwise you can apply for cds after and age limit is 19-25 yrs..

>>you must be unmarried male Indian .


Second ,is the CDS examination which stands for the minimum eligibility criteria is graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

>>Your age should be between 19 to 25 years.


>>this examination will give you opportunity to join :

1.Indian military academy.

2.Officer training academy.

3.Indian naval academy.

At the age of 18 year candidate are eligible for NDA exam because the maximum age limit for this exam is 19 year.

there is no relaxation in age for any category candidate.

Eligibility Criteria

1. the candidate must be an indian citizen.

2. the candidate must be an unmarried male.

3. the candidate must be passed/appeared in 12th with a govt. recognized university.

4. the candidate must be medically fit.

5. he must be in between 16.5-19 years.

selection procedure:-

1. written test - objective.

2. ssb interview.- vocal .

3. medical test.

Yes you can apply for the National Defence Services exam

As 18 years old candidates are allowed for the exam

And in terms of age you should be fully eligible

How To Apply :

Just open the website of the upsc

And than open the nds form section

And fill the form with the details

Like your name and your address

Eligibility Required for the exam :

you can apply for NDA after 18 years of age,
age required for NDA is 16.5 to 19 years.

there is no relaxation for the OBC or SC/St candidates as far as NDA exam is concerned,

you can apply for the NDA exam and can give preference to indian army if you wish to join indian army.

YES, you are eligible to apply for NDA after 18 years. There is no relaxation in age for any category candidates. Age limit is same for all.

By giving NDA(National Defence Academy) examination you can join Indian Army. NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year as NDAI & NDAII.

UPSC:- Union Public Service Commission

>>You should have passed 12th class/Equivalent Exam from recognized school.

>>You can also apply for NDA exam while pursuing 12th class.
