    Indian Forest Service communicating (IFS) : Eligibility Conditions
    Age Limits
    A candidate should have earned the age of twenty one years and should not have earned the age of thirty years on first July, 2004, i.e. he should are born not prior 2d July, 1974 and not later than first July, 1983.

    Minimum instructional Qualifications
    The candidate should hold a Bachelor?s degree with a minimum of one among the topics specifically husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, arithmetic, Physics, Statistics and biology or a Bachelor?s degree in Agriculture, biology or in Engineering of Any of Universities incorporated by AN Act of the Central or State general assembly in India or alternative instructional establishments established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University below Section three of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess constant qualification.

    Number of tries
    each candidate showing at the Examination, WHO is otherwise eligible, shall be permissible four tries at the examination.

    Candidates will apply for the IFS examination conducted by UPSC each on-line and offline mode.

    Hi Aspirant,


    To be an IFS officer you will have to apply for IFS exam through UPSC.

    UPSC conducts the exam of IFS every year at national level.

    It is the job of forest officer.


    Required qualification

    You must have graduation degree in any stream

    Age should be 21 to 30 years

    Age relaxation

    SC/ST + 5 years

    OBC + 3 years

    PH + 10 years

    You must be Indian.

    to apply for IFS :
    Candidates can apply for the IFS examination conducted by UPSC both online and offline mode.

    to become IFS you have to you have to clear UPSC IFS exam.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    Graduation from recognize college or University.

    your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.

    And there is relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates(3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).

    And if you want to become a Ifs Then you have to

    Give the union public service exam for this post

    And here is the eligibility criteria for the exam:

    Education qualification: The candidate must be pass in

    Graduation from a recognized indian university

    Or A final year student can also apply for the exam

    Citizen: The candidate should be citizen of india

    Age limit: The age limit for the exam is different for the different categories

    The age limit for the general is between 21-30

    And the age limit for the sc and at is 21-35

    And for the other backword classes 21-33

    And for the ph candidates it is 21-40

    If you are filling the above criteria Then you can go for the exam

    For IFS you have to completes your graduation which you have completed. Now age limit is between 21 to 30(for OBC 33 and for SC/ST 35) and salary is fix the government initially but changing with new pay by your exprience.

    and for this the applicant must be graduate.
    and age criteria varies with your category but minimum it is 21 year old.
    you may apply online for this on the website upsc.gov.in
    as the notification of the exam comes.
    the salary is 19000-39000.

    The government of India have Fixed salary grades And this is changing with new pay.

    Different branches of service has different scales of pay.
    There are different types of allowances such as dearness Allowance,Leave Travel allowance ,Medical and subsidized housing.

    At first the candidate have to procure the application form along with Information brochure from any of the head post officer spread through out the country and send the filled application form to

    next in the month of June or may the examination will be held
    there will be two papers
    1.General studies
    2.some optional subjects

    both papers are of 150 marks.

    After that the passed candidates have to go for the final selection process in which
    1.Essay type indian Language Qualifying paper 300 marks.
    2.English qualifying paper 300 marks
    3.General essay type paper 200 marks
    4.General studies paper 300 marks
    5.Optional subject papers 300 marks.


    After that you have to give final Interview.

    An eligibility criterion is the same for all the students even from different streams. U just need to be a graduate. Age limit is 21 to 30 in general category, 21 to 33 in obc, and 21 to 35 in sc/st.
