UPSC conduct various exams like IAs/IPS/IRS/NDA/CDS and many more these entrance exams follow UPSC Guidelines.AS far as minimum percentage of marks is concerned there is no need to get minimum stipulated percentage of marks for example NDA & CDS exams a 12th standard from the recognized board can appear NDA entrance examination.That mean's to perform NDA minimum pass marks in 12th is enough to sit for the NDA entrance exams, similarly all upsce exams need minimum pass marks to attend UPSC entrance examinations.TO do civil services (IAS/IPS//IRS) a candidate have to be a Graduate from the recognized University or it's equivalent degree in any discipline to attend the UPSC entrance exams.

So, we can say to appear no minimum stipulated percentage of marks is not required only minimum pass marks is required to attend UPSC exams.

As you have completed your Graduation degree so now you have become eligible for all the exams which are conducted by UPSC and
the minimum eligibility is graduation.

See I would like you to be free from the percentage criteria as there is no such percentage criteria described in eligibility norms of any of the UPSC exams.

You just need to be passed in your graduation degree.

So do not worry about percentage criteria.

Instead start up your preparation for the exam as its not an easy exam.

there is no criteria of percentage in graduation, you just need to pass your graduation from an ugc recognised university, and you age must follow the following criteria-
general- 21 to 30 years
obc- 21 to 33 years
sc/st- 21 to 35 years
pd- 21 to 40 years.
you need too study really hard to crack civil services examination and select one optional subject in which you are really good at so that after clearing pre exam you can easily clear mains examination with that optional subject.

there is no requsite of any kind of percentage required to sit in the upsc IAS exam. You just need to be a graduate from a recognized indian university and your age should be in between 21-30 years.
You can even apply for it after having 33% marks in your graduation and nothing more.

There is no such limit on the percentage you need to score in your Graduation!

See,the according to the eligibility criteria,the candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.

So if the university from where you did engineering is approved by UGC,the you can surely sit in the exam.

But make sure that you also fulfill the age criteria.

-->A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st
August, in the year of examination.

• Being a graduate you are eligible for the civil service exam through which aspirants are recruited for various services namely administrative, police, forestry etc .

• There is no percentage bar for appearing in the exam. All you need a bachelor degree . Except engineering for all other bachelor degree the minimum pass percentage is 35. While for engineering it is 50% . And you need to get the corresponding minimum marks.

• You can give the exam in your final year provided you have completed 21 years mark.

• One has only a limited number of attempts which is 4 times for general category, no restriction for ST, SC and 7 attempts for BC, MBC aspirants. So make use of the attempts in a better way

you would be glad to know that there's no percentage criteria in UPSC exam.It doesn't matter if your percentage is low in B.A but it really matters if your percentage is low in UPSC because the competition is really going tougher and tougher so you have to be serious for your UPSC exam.

There is NO percentage restriction to appear in the UPSC exam ,you need only to pass your graduation from recognised university only

Even if you want to know in words then it can be said to be 33% in most of graduation degree or whichever lowest percentage stipulated by university for your stream to declared a student pass.

Dear Applicant,
-There is NO PERCENTAGE BAR to appear for the UPSC exams.You may appear for this exams straight after completing your Bachelor in Arts from a recognized university,with the PASSING MARKS.
-The list of the exams conducted by the UPSC that you will be eligible to appear after completing your BA are mentioned below.

{01} CIVIL SERVICE EXAMS.
-You must be a citizen of India.
-You must be 21 To 30 Years of age.
However,the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 Years for SC/ST and ex-servicemen & by 3 Years for OBC and Physically Disabled.
-You must have completed your Graduation or equivalent,from a recognized university with any subject or stream.Final year students are also applicable.

{02} COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE EXAMS.
-You must be a citizen of India.
-You must be 19 To 24 years of age for
IMA,19 To 25 years for OTA,19 To 22 years
of age for Navy AND 19 To 23 years of age
for Air Force.
-You must complete your Graduation in any stream To apply for IMA and OTA.
To apply for Navy and Air Force,You must complete your Graduation in Engineering or BSc(in Maths or Physics) from a recognized university.
--Clearly,You being a BA Graduate,You may apply for IMA and OTA onlY.
