Help me to find the list of useful books for UPSC exams preparation. Suggest me a study plan for same.

I have completed B.E in computer science(2011 passed out) and working as a software engineer.I am preparing for UPSC exams 2012.

Since i am working, i get about 4 to 5 hours time to study for these exams on week days and complete saturdays and sundays.

I am finding it difficult to find the list of books from which i should prepare for this exam since the syllabus is very vast.

I am planning to take up History(or Geography) and Kannada Literature as my optionals for the UPSC main exam.

Please suggest me a study plan and books which i should refer to.

Awaiting for your suggestion on this.

    Thank You
    Bharath Kumar
    UPSC Aspirant
