    Hi Aspirant,

Being a mechanical engineer you can choose one subject as mechanical engineering.

Mechanical engineering subject is including in the list of optional subject.

Mechanical subject will help you a lot in cracking civil exam because you are well familiar from that.

Besides it you can also choose one other subject in the list of optional subjects.

    List of optional subject

    Agriculture

    Animal husbandry & vetinary science

    Anthropology

    Botany

    Chemistry

    Civil engineering

    Commerce and accountancy

    Economics

    Geography

    Indian History

    Law

    Management

    Mathematics

    Mechanical engineering

    Medical science

    Philosophy

    Physics

    Political science & international relations

    Psychology

As you are a Mechanical Engineer so that Mechanical Engineering will be one of your optional subject .

As in mechanical engineering you studied Maths and also its applications so that it will be benifit you to select Maths as your second optional subject .
