Hello friend...
Combined medical Service exam (CMS) is conducted by every year in the month of january by UPSC for the recruitment of doctors to Central govt. services like railway,ordinance factories,Health service and the municipal corporation.
Eligibility:
(i) The candidate must have possess an MBBS degree.The final year MBBS degree student also allowed to appear the examination.

Age:
Candidate who appear the exam must be less than 32 years of age on 1st january of the year of examination.

Procedure:
Selection procedure for CMS are made on the basis of written examination.
The written paper based on 2 papers.The question pattern is objective,multiple choice and only in English.
Candidates who qualify in the written test are required to appear in the interview.
The candidates who are selected in the interview are required to appear the medical examination conducted by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
The candidate apply online or offline for this examination.

Look at the following statistics,
the number of candidates who appeared for Combined medical services exam in 2010 is approximately 20000
number of candidates who cleared written and appeared for mains: 653
number of candidates who were finally selected for appointment: 350
with this statistics, you can understand how the tough exam will be.
Since the syllabus is vast, it will be difficult to cover the entire syllabus for objective type questions. WE can easily prepare for subjective/essay type. but for objective type, it is very tough.
but dont lose heart, success comes only when you work hard.

combined medical service exam is not tough exam if you have harder to harder work.

this exam is conducted by upsc every once in a year.

to join this exam;-
you must be passed mbbs .
final year student are eligible for this exam.

age limit is 21-32 years.
you must be Indian citizen.

CMS stands for Combined Medical Service and this Examination is Conducted by Union Public Service Commission . This Examination is held every once in a year .

Basically this Examination is Conducted during the Month of September and October.

So, If your interested to apply for this Examination than you have to apply for Union Public Service Commission .

To appear in this Examination than you should Complete MBBS Course and Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Examination .

Your age should be Minimum 21 years and Maximum 32 years .

ELIGIBILITY OR THE EXAM

*For admission to the examination a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.NOTE:

• A candidate who has appeared or has yet to appear at the final M.B.B.S. Examination may also apply. Such candidates will be admitted but the admission would be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation, if they do not produce proof of having passed the written and practical part of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.
• A candidate who has yet to complete the compulsory rotating internship is educationally eligible for admission but on selection he will be appointed only after he has completed the internship.

*Age of candidate must lies in between 21-32 years.

**Candidate must be Indian
