Dear Friend,

Check the details of your University whether it recognised by UGC or not.
If it is than you can definitely apply for the UPSC Examination.
Distance learning program is perfectly alright. You just need to have your degree from recognised University.
Percentage don't matter in your Graduation. You just have to clear in it to become eligible for examination.
So I will advise you to check with your University whether is recognised by UGC or not.
Because UPSC clearly mentions in their notification that Qualification Degree should be from recognised University.
I have seen website of your University and it looks like it is recognised University but still I will advise you to do research on your own.

the criteria for being eligible for appearing in IAS exam is that you should have completed your graduation from any recognized university.. you must have scored at least 60%in your graduation for eligibility..

as per your ques. you fulfill the criteria, so don't worry and go ahead..

you can apply for the same because you are graduate and all the graduates are eligible for the same.

but there are some other requirements which must be fulfilled by you if wanna take part in the examination.



eligibility related requirements:-


* the candidate must be the citizen of India.

* the candidate must be a graduate from a ugc recognized university.


age requirements:-

* for general category:- 21-30 years.

* for sc/st category:- 21-35years.

* for obc category:-21-33 years.

no of attempts:-

* for general :-4 attempts.
* for obc :-7 attempts.
* for sc/st :- no any restriction.




so don''t worry you can apply if fulfill all the criteria mentioned above.

Dear,
Upsc requirement in the qualification field is that the candidate must have graduation in any stream from the approved university which is recognized the ugc/aicet or

center/state government approved.

If you complete the degree from recognized university then definitely you are eligible for the exam.

The age limit for the exam is 21 to 30 years for unreserved category.

If you belong to reserve category then you have the age relaxation,

For sc/st category the age relaxation 5 years

For obc category the age relaxation 3 years.
