    Dear,
It is well that you don't appear the examination without a preparation. yes you can appear the examination as you are a OBC candidate. Though the age limit is 21-30 years, but for OBC candidate, there is 3 year age relaxation. As the advertisement, you can apply in 2012. But, you can apply for the 2014 examination as the age relaxation. You can apply the examination online by visiting the website www.upsconline.nic.in in ORA link. So whether you are in abroad it doesn't matter, you can apply online, Thank You and Best of Luck

Is it possible to appear in UPSC Preliminary exam,2013 at the age of 30 years? My date of birth is 04-03-1983. I belong to OBC community. Is there any chance for to apply online as I am working in abroad? How could I collect my call ticket and others?

    i have 2 questions

1)i prepare for the UPSC exam.i comes under OBC category. My date of birth is 04-03-1983 and i am planning to appear for the preliminary exam on 2013(2012 also possible but i am not ready, because i do not want to appear without good preparation) . As on march 2013 i could be 30 years old and would not satisfy upsc norms which says 30 years old candidate are not eligible. so at least is it possible to appear in upsc preliminary on 2013 and the following year exams ie, 2014,2015 and 2016 as i am a OBC CANDIDATE.

2)In addition, i am working in abroad, so its difficult for me to apply on offline. so is there a chance available for me to apply on online for the preliminary exam? if it is there than how could i collect my call ticket and acknowledgements etc.

advance thanks for your kind reply
