After clearing the interview process, the candidates will be fit to medical examination.
As regards the physical fitness, a candidate should be in good mental and physical health and free from any physical defects likely to interfere in the efficient discharge of duties as medical officer.
medical examination includes
1) height ans weight measurement should be proportionate. No strict limit is there for height and weight.
2) Eye sight requirements
for colour vision, myopia, night blindness, distant vision, near vision etc
THere are no strict physical requirements like that for IPS(Indian Police services) where rigorous physical fitness is required.

Dear Friend,

The Combined Medical Services Exam is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission.

The Eligibility Criteria for CMS Exam are :

* You must have completed your MBBS from any recognized university.

* Final year students can also apply.

* Your age should lie in between 21-32 years.

* You must be physically and mentally fit.

for UPSC combined medical services exam you have to satisfy the Physical standards which are set by UPSC.

and you have to satisfy the following eligibility Criteria for appearing in CMS exam.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. you need MBBS degree

2. you must not reach 32 years.

Combined Medical Service exam is conducted by UPSC once in a year.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CMS EXAM

*Graduate degree or Passed in MBBS

**Degree must be from recognized university

****Your age must not be greater than 32 years.

******You must be Indian

********You must be Physically or Mentally fit for the CMS exam.

Yes you should be physically fit

For the Common medical exam and not only for

This exam you should have to fit for all of the other exams too

Any of the exam in your which you are attempting

You should be physically fit

As for the almost all exams physically fitness also requires

Like you are not suffering from any of the diseases

Also you have to full fill the other qualification

Education:

> The Candidate should be pass in graduation degree

> The Person should be pass in degree of MBBS

> The final year aspirants can also appear in the exam

Age Limitations :

> The age of the aspirant should not be more than 32

CMS EXAM STANDS FOR COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICE EXAM.
CMS EXAM IS CONDUCTED BY UPSC.
TO JOIN THIS EXAM;-
**you must be passed mbbs course.
**final year student can also apply cms exam.

***maximum age limit is 32 years.
age relaxation is given reserve category student.

***you must be physically as well as mentally fit according to medical standard of upsc.
