preminilary exam namely,

UPSC:-Union Public Service Commission this examination is conducted by every year.Civil service exam also conducted by UPSC.And this exam is conducted in three stages there are.

~~preliminary exam
~~Written Exam
~~Interview

~~preliminary Exam:-
It is the one the entry level exam and this exam have two paper each paper have 200 marks and 2 hours duration. if you qualified this examination then you can go for Main Examination.

~~Written Main Exam:-
It is the Middle level Exam and this exam have Nine Papers totally this papers have 2000 marks and this exam conducted 24 days.The main exam have a optional subject but computer in not an optional subject for The Civil service Main Exam.I will give the list of Optional subject for The Civil service Main Examination.



If you qualified for main exam the you can go for Interview. and the interview is a final stage if you clear that one you are eligible for the civil service exam.

* There are two steps for CSE. PRE and MAINS.

* For pre there is no such particular subject you have to choose. All candidates have to appear in a unique exam with similar questions i.e. CSAT

* Sorry friend,there is no subject for computer graduate in mains exam.

* You have to choose any other subject for civil services mains examination

* A list of subjects given by UPSC mentioned below, you can choose any of these subjects for CSE.

agriculture,animal husbandry and vetinary science,botany,chemistry,civil engineering,commerce.economics,electrical engineering,geography,geology,Indian history,law,mathematics,mechanical engineering,medical science,philosophy,physics,political science,psychology,public administration,sociology,statistics,geology.
You can opt any two among these at the time of main examination.

Civil Service is one of the most presitigous and tuffest exam in India conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC).Many of the candidates cannot succeed this exam.While analysing the reasons for this failure,choosing the right optional became the first in the list.Many candidates are confused to choose the optional paper for preparing Civil Service exam.Don't worry,it is very simple to choose the option.
For choosing the optional paper,you have to consider three main things that is 1)Interest , 2)Materials Available and 3)Subject Knoweledge
1.Interest
Choose the subject in which you are interested and don't choose the subject in which you are not interested.If you select with interest,then you will really enjoy the subject.Hence,you can study easily and also you can score high marks.
2.Materials Available
Second thing you have to consider is available materials.Suppose think it,if you don't have exact materials for your optional paper then how will you prepare for that?.Therfore,while choosing the optional,search whether there is enough material for the preparation of the paper.
3.Subject Knoweledge
Third thing was subject knoweledge.Don't choose optional paper without subject knoweledge in it.Better,you can choose your degree subject.Because,it will reduce the preparation since you have enough knoweledge in it.
Remember,while choosing the optional paper
1.Analyse the syallabus first
2.Analyse the last ten years question paper.
3.Science subjects are handled by a person with only science background
4.But,Art subjects can be handled by all of them.
5.While choosing literature papers,you must have enough knowledge in literatures

1.Don't select subjects with hearsay
2.Don't select irrelevant subjects
