Dear candidate-you can join with the help of sports quota, you can get relief from relaxation of age/reservation ,but you are to fulfill other criteria like-

1.you have to confirm 12th standard with the subject physics/mathematics.
2.you have to fulfill age criteria though as a sports personal rt elaxation available
generally your age must be within 16 and 1/2 years to 19 years.
3.you are to be an indian citizen and must be a male candidate to join national defence academy.

As a national level shooter you may get relaxation in age and avail reservation of seats alloted to sports man.

Written test/interview must be cleared with merit as there is no quota sytem for sports man.

Yes sir,

You can join the NDA through the sports quota; there is special quota for the sports persons.

There are reserve seat for the sportsman which has play the international or the state level.


NDA exam conducted two times in a year.


The age limit for the exam is the 16.5 years to 19 years


For this exam only unmarried male candidate is eligible for the exam, female candidates are not eligible for the exam.


Candidate must have complete the higher secondary with the science subject or appear in the higher secondary.


You can apply the examination application through online and offline method.


By online method you can purchase the application form in the head post office and pay the fee through CRF stamp which is also available in the post office

Yes,definitely you are eligible to apply for National Defense Academy (N.D.A) with the help of Sports Quota , you may Get special oppurtunities like
->Age Relaxation.
->Special Reservation on Selections.

There wil be a particular fitness test, but as you are sports man theire will be not difficult to you.
