You can apply for the UPSC civil services exam held every year and you can apply for it at www.upsconline.nic.in and also the exam is held in 3 phases:

1.Prelims
2.Mains
3.Interview.

===Must be a citizen of India.

===free from any disease

===eye sight should be 6/6 or 6/9

===complete your graduation from recommended university

===age should be in between 19-25

===height should be in between 157cm

===should be mentally physically strong

After BDS you have lots of options either private or government.

Following career options are available for fresh passouts:

Civil Services
Clinics
Hospital Administration Course
DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery)
Army
Dental Clinics and Labs
Certificate courses etc...

As you a BDS student you can join indian army dental corps

and the eligibility criteria for this is

you should be a citizen of india


you should be free from any disease


your eye sight should be 6/6 or 6/9


you should have complete your graduation from recommended university


your age should be in between 19-25


your height should be in between 157cm


you should be mentally physically strong

For BDS you can apply for "Indian Army dental corps".
Eligibility for this job:
A candidate must have obtained minimum marks of 55% in Bachelor of Dental Surgeon (OR) Master of Dental Surgeon can eligible for to apply these posts.
Age Limits:
Applied candidate Maximum age limit do not cross the 45Years.

After completion of your BDS, you can apply for IAS/IPS/IFS and medical officer exams conducted by UPSC. For more detail like age limits, relaxation in age etc , you go on UPSC website, www.upsc.govt.in.

there are teaching profession, jobs in pharmaceutical companies, research projects, PhD, MBA (Hospital administration) etc.
If a candidate is interested in IAS or IPS he/she can always go for it.
