    If your aspiring to Join in IFS Examination than you have to appear in Civil Service Examination which is Conducted by UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission ) for very One in a year .

    The Notification for this Entrance Examination may Published in Employment news paper and Official website of UPSC ..


    How many exams should I clear before joining the service?

    To appear in this Civil Service Examination than you Must Complete bachelor degree course from recognized university ..

    Final year candidate may also eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination..

    If your interested in IFS Entrance Examination than you must Complete your graduation course ...

    The Entrance Examination may divided into three levels namely , Written Examination, Main Examination and Interview

    Hello,
    IFS stands for Indian Forest Service. The IFS exam is conducted by UPSC every year.
    You can only appear in IFS Exam if you satisfy the basic eligibility criteria like

    Educational Qualification
    The candidate must graduate from any recognized university with at least one of the fourteen subjects given below:
    Agriculture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary science,
    Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Botany, Zoology,
    Agricultural engineering, Chemical engineering, Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering.
    Final year degree students are also eligible

    Age limit
    General 21-30 yrs
    SC/ST 21-35 yrs
    OBC 21-33 yrs
    Number of attempts permitted
    General 4
    OBC 7
    PH 7
    SC/ST No Limit
    Nationality should be Indian.

    Procedure to join IFS is:

    Educational Qualification: Candidate must be Graduate from any recognized university.

    Age Limit:
    For General Candidate : 21-30 years
    For OBC Candidate : 21-33 years
    For SC/ST Candidate : 21-35 years

    Exam Patterns: Written test consists of following paper:

    Paper -I : General English : Marks 300
    Paper-II : General Knowledge : Marks 300
    Paper-III : Optional Subject-I : Marks 200
    Paper-IV : Optional Subject-I : Marks 200
    Paper-V : Optional Subject-2 : Marks 200
    Paper-VI : Optional Subject-2 : Marks 200

    After Written Examination Interview for personality test will be of 300 Marks
