Conducted by : UPSC Once in a year

Age : 21yrs to 30yrs for General Candidates

Age Relaxations : 3yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST Candidates

Educational Qualification : Graduate in any discipline from any recognised university in India.

Never mentioned nay cut off percentage for the exam

Maximum Number of Attempts : 4 for General , 7 for OBC and As many they can for SC/ST candidates

BCA is a graduation degree course and after graduation every candidates are eligible for civil services exam , for that exam those candidates are also eligible which are in last year of graduation.

Age Limit :- Candidate must be under 21-30 years.
3 years of age relaxation for BC candidates and 5 years of age
relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Attempts :- General candidates has 4 attempts to apply where as BC candidates has 7 attempts and SC/ST candidates has no limit to apply.

BCA stands for Bachelor In Computer Administration. It is an graduation degree course.

After graduation you are eligible for civil service examination and also for Combined Defense Services Examination.

For CDS exam:

Candidate must be passed his/her graduation and also can apply in last year of graduation .

Age Limit :

19-24 for Indian Military
19-22 for Naval Academy
19-23 for Air force

Candidate must be citizen of India.


For Civil Services :

Candidate must be passed there graduation and also can apply in last year of graduation.

Age Limit :

GEN : 21-30 years
BC : 21-33 years
SC/ST : 21-35 years

Candidate must be citizen of India.

qualification for CIVIL SERVICES are:

Hello

Yes you can apply for civil services like IAS,IPS AND IFS.
The eligibility criteria for applying in the IAS,IPS and IFS is

1)minimum qualification-graduation from any stream from any recognized university.
2)There is no percentage bar.
3)age limit-21 to 30 years for GC
21 to 33 years for OBC
21 to 35 years for SC/ST.

3)number of attempts-4 for GC
7-OBC
unlimited-SC/ST.

Hence you are applicable here.

But you are not applicable for civil services like Indian Economic service
and Indian Engineering Service,they have specific qualification required.

but being a BCA graduate you can apply in following exams:

1. Civil Services
2. CPF

Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services:

1. Graduation in any discipline

2. Age Limit: your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of Exam. There is also relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

Eligibility Criteria For CPF exam:

1. Graduation in any stream

2. Age Limit:

• General: 20 years to 25 years
• OBC: 20 years to 28 years

as the basic eligibility to apply for these exams is graduation in any stream from a recognized institute under UGC.

for all these exams
the OBC and the SC/ST category aspirants are prior to get an age relaxation of 3 and 5 years respectively.

students can apply for theses exams while pursuing there final year.

BBA students can apply for exams like

And yes you can apply for the exam

As you are a B.C.A Student because bca students are fully eligible for the exam

Eligibility :

Education: The candidate should be pass in graduation from a recognized

Indian university and it does not matter that graduation you have done

Is from science or from commerce or from arts just need to be pass in graduation in any stream

Age : The age should be between 21-30

And their will be relaxation given to the obc candidates of 3 years

And relaxation given to the sc.st candidates of 5 years

being BCA student you should go for prepration of CDS which is conducted twice in a year.this xam is conducted by UPSC for officer rank.NOTIFICATION will be given in news paper in the month of sept/oct and apr/may.
follow the certain books for prepration of cds
1)NCERT OF Social studies from 6th to 12th. for general knowledge.
2)objective english by edgar thorpe of TATA MC GRAW HILL.
3)book of pearson and arihant for general knowledge.
4)10 year solved question paper of CDS OF UPKAR PUBLICATION.

as u know that upsc xams are not related to one subject.it conducts various xams lyk -combined defence services(twice a year),IAS,IPS,NDA/NA(TWICE),CIVIL SERVICES PREMILINARY XAMS,GEOLOGISTS XAM,CSAT,SPECIAL CLASS RAILWAY XAM,INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE INDIAN STATISTICAL XAM,INDIAN FOREST XAMINATION.n many more.

examinations ,but there are some examinations which can

1.NDA

2.CDS

3.IAS

4.IPS

5.SCRA


For giving NDA you must pass 12th standard.

For giving CDS exam the candidate should have passed with

a degree in any stream from a recognized university or

organization.

Age limit:--19 to 24 years(for military)

19 to 22(Naval)

19 to 23 for Air force

Age limit for IPS : Your age must be between 21 to 30

years(for OBC 21 to 33 years age relaxation will be given

and for SC/ST candidates the age relaxation will be 21 to 35

years..)

UPSC conducts various exams thru out the year. It basically conducts exams for graduates. Graduates may be Engineers, Medical, BA, BSc.,BCA, BCom etc., Few posts need only engineers or medical background. But, many posts are for 3 year degree courses. BCA students can compete for these posts.
