• Sorry to say, but you are not eligible to appear in the Combined defence services (CDS) exam.
• The CDS exam is conducted for the four academy of Defence sector-
• Indian military academy.
• Indian Navy.
• Indian air force
• Indian office training academy
• Being an commerce student and considering it, you were already illeligible for the Indian Navy and airforce.
• But your age which will be above 25 years in 2013, which makes you complete illeligible for the Cds Examination.

Sorry to say

you are not eligible for the exam because you cross the age limit. Now the CDS exam held in the next year then complete the age 25 years.


Under the CDS exam different -2 departments like as


Indian Air Force


Indian Navy


India Military Academy


Officer Training Academy


Eligibility criteria:-


Exam conducted bi-annually

India Military Academy age limit is: 19 to 24 Years


For Officer Training Academy age limit: 19 to 25 years


Naval age limit: 19 to 22 years


Indian air force age limit: 19 to 23 years

The qualification is required for the CDS exam is different-2 is like as:-

for the Indian military academy graduation in any stream

for the officer training academy graduation in any stream.

for the Indian air force graduation in science stream.

for the naval graduation in science stream


according to your age you are not eligible for the exam.

Dear..

You are not eligible for the exam as the AGE LIMIT is 19-24 years only. And you said that you were born in 1987 that means your age is more then 25 years as of now so that means you have crossed the limit.

No need to dishearten yourself as you can do many things apart from CDS. You can still join Army if you want to do so. You can try your luck in different sector also. It might be possible that you have something better then CDS available in your career..

Hi Aspirant

CDS : Stands for the Common Defence Services exam

And the exam is conducted by the upsc department twice

In a year and as a commerce graduate you can write the exam

No doubt bu the main problem is your age which is i think around 25 years

But you have not give your exact date of birth

But here i am giving the full criteria required for the exam

Educational Qualification :

-The Candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university

- The final year candidates can also appear in the exam

-The candidate should have maths and physics as subjects in 12th class for IMA And Indian naval

Age Limits :

-The age of the candidate should be between 19 to 24 for IMA

-And for the Officer's training academy it should be 19 to 25

Attempts :

-Their is no limitation on the attempts
