Re: Eligibility Criteria of the Entrance test of UPSC for providing the scholarship? the scholarship that is given by the upsc is to encourage people/ students from different streams to approach these civil services exam and serve their nation the scholarship is given/ provided to minorities students and those who are meritorious students.

Age Limit: - The candidate should be minimum 21 years of age and the maximum age is 29 years. Educational Qualification: - The candidate should have a degree completed from any of the institutes established by an Act of Parliament or any University deemed by the University Grant Commission under section 3, Act, 1956 Number of attempts: - Every eligible candidate is allowed to attempt the Civil Services Examination four times. Successful candidate already in IAS OR IFS are ineligible
