yes of course you are eligible.
The eligibility criteria lays down the following:
1.you must have attained the age of 17 years and not crossed 21 years on 1st august of the year of examination.
2.Because you are 12th appearing you need to have sccience stream and must pass the examination.

Age Limit : 17 to 21 Years

SCRA Conducted by the UPSC And 1 Time In The Year

Last Date For Application Form : 12/11/2012

So Fill The Form If You Full filled the criteria.

yes you are eligible for SCRA EXAM but at the interview time you should have to collect your all original document that time otherwise they will reject you.

Yes sure you can apply for SCRA exam in 2013.But you can apply when you have passed your 12th standard. SCRA stands for Special class Railway Apprentices.

Required Eligibility Criteria For SCRA:-

->You must have passed 12th from a recognized Board or University in first or second division
->And you must passed 12th in mathematics, physics or chemistry.
->Age between 17-21 years.
->Nationality: Indian
->Age relaxation provided for reserved category.

• SCRA stands for the Special Class Railway Apprentice.
• Yes, you can appear in the SCRA exam in 2013, if you completing the class 12th in 2013.
• You need to have completed the class 12th from an recognised board where you must have mathematics and atleast physics/chemistry as an compulsory subjects.
• Your age must be between 17 years to 21 years.
• Age relaxations to obc- Three years.
• Age relaxations to sc/st- Five years.
• You must be the citizen of India.
• The examination fee is generally conducted in the month january.

Yes, you can apply for SCRA. But if you have not shown your original documents at the time of verification after clear the written test, in that condition your candidature will be rejected.

Eligibility for SCRA-

Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed 12th in the first or second division, with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subject of the examination.

Age Criteria: Candidate should be between 17-27 years.

Examination: It consist of Two Part.

Part-I Written examination carrying a maximum of 600 marks.
Paper-I General ability test (English, General Knowledge and Psychological Test)
Paper-II Physical Science (Physics and Chemistry)
Paper-II Mathematics

Total Marks 600 (200 marks each paper) total Duration 2 hours

Part-II Personality test carrying a maximum of 200 marks in respect of only those candidates who are declared qualified on the results of written examination.

Yes you are eligible to appear for 2013 SCRA exams if you are appearing for 12th Boards in March,2013.

SCRA exams are conducted by UPSC to make recruitments to Mechanical Depatrment of the Indian Railways.

Eligibility :

Age Limit :
General Category-17-21yrs on 1st August of year of exam
OBC-Relaxation by +3yrs
SC/ST-Relaxation by +5yrs

Educational Qualification :
12th Boards/Equivalent passed in Ist/IInd Division from a recognised Board/University
and subject Maths with atleast one of the subject Physics OR Chemistry.
Final year appearing/appeared candidates can apply on provision.

The exam notification for SCRA has been advertised on 13.10.2012 and last date for
applications are 12.11.2013.
SCRA exams will be held on 20.01.2013.
