    The thing that is necessary that you must need to be graduate in any of the courses.May be it BBA .Do the course but they are more concerned on general studies so you must be a master in that to crack the examination.It is quite a very tough examination.So you need to very concentrating.

    No, there is no rule where B.com is compulsory to appear in the Civil services exam to become IAS officer.



    IF YOU WANT TO APPEARED IAS EXAM THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE TO PASSED GRADUATION IN ANY STREAM FROM THE RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY.

    yes definitely you will be eligible after your BBA, infect a person is become eligible for civil services after graduation in any faculty or stream.




    the minimum requirement of educational qualification is graduation from a govt recognized university.

    and one thing i want to clear you that there is no any restriction of any special graduation degree in any special faculty or subject...

    * the candidate must be an indian .

    * the candidate must be a graduate from a govt recognized university.

    * age requirement:

    @ for general category:- 21-30 yrs.

    @ for obc category:- 21-33 years.

    @ for sc/st category:- 21-35 years.

    * No of attempts:-

    @ for genera:- 4 attempts.

    @ for obc :- 7 attempts.

    @ for sc/st:- no any restriction.

    who says that B.com is a mandatory subject in UPSC civil services. you are fully eligible for IAS after completing your BBA
    there is no rule of this type the eligibility criteria are
    must be graduate from a recognized university
    age limt
    general 21 to 30
    obc 21 to 33
    sc/ st 21 to 35

    You can apply for Civil Services Examination after BBA.

    B.Com is not mandatory.

    Candidate should be Graduate or BBA or B.Tech Or B.Com.


    So dear friend you can apply without any hesitation.

    • No, there is no rule where B.com is compulsory to appear in the Civil services exam to become IAS officer.
    • The important thing required for this exam is that you must have bachelor degree in any stream from an recognised university.
    • So with the BBA degree also, you can appear in civil services exam.
    • Only passing marks is needed in graduation.
    • Your age must lie between 21 years to 30 years.
    • Age relaxations is also provided as per the government rules.
    • You must be the citizen of india.
    • First you need to clear prelimns exam, then main exam and at last interview.

    Only Gradaution in any stream like B.Com or B.Sc or BBA or B.Tech no matter regarding this.....

    Minimum educational qualification required is GRADUATION.

    IAS means INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE this exam is conducted by the UPSC one time in a year.Graduate students are eligible for this examination.

    The following list shows the eligibility qualifications for IAS exam.


    ELIGIBILITY:

    Graduate students are eligible

    Candidate should be a citizen of india.

    age limit between 21 to 30 years.

    3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates.

    5 years for SC/ST candidates.

    Both male and female candidates are eligible



    Selection process done in 3 steps those are:

    SELECTION PROCESS:

    Preliminary exam

    Main exam

    Interview


    NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:

    Dear Friend,

    No , its not specified any where that B.Com is mandatory if any one wants to appear for the Civil Services Examination.

    If you have completed BBA , you are eligible for the civil services examination because the only thing that matters is that you must have a Bachelor`s Degree in any stream from any recognized college/university.

    So , don`t worry about these stuffs and prepare well to crack this examination.

    No B.com is not mandatory to be eligible for appearing in the UPSC Civil Services Exam(CSE).

    Ofcourse you can appear in CSE after completion of your degree in BBA instead of B.Com provided

    its from a recognised University.

    Eligibility for CSE :

    Educational qualification :
    Graduation in any stream from a recognised University.
    Final year appearing students can apply on provision.

    Age Limit:
    General category-21-30yrs
    OBC-21-33yrs
    SC/ST-21-35yrs

    Attempts :
    General category-4 times

    Hello,
    No, it is not mandatory that you should have a B.COM degree you can any degree from a university certified by UGC.
    So you can give the IAS exam being a BBA degree holder...
