    Dear aspirants,

    There is no more time left for the preparation of CSAT 2013. If you start your preparation then it is very good for you. you can prepare CSAT syllabus by completing your General awareness, general aptitute syllbus,.
    for better preparation of general awareness you read THE HINDU news paper.,a lot of stuff coming from this paper

    CSAT stands for Civil Services Aptitude Test.

    ** For giving CSAT exam you should have completed your graduation or you re also eligible if you are in the last year.

    You should be between 21 to 30 years.
    There is an age relaxation in case of reserved categories.

    Number of attempts you have for the exam:-

    General Category - 4
    OBC - 7
    Physically Handicapped - 7
    SC & ST - No limit on number of attempts

    You have 2 papers in CSAT exam:-

    1. GENERAL STUDIES

    2.GENERAL APTITUDE

    For General studies you can go through following books:

    For History, Geography & Economics I would Like to suggest you for the NCERT books.
    These would be the best books for you.

    Along with these go through the following books:


    • India's Struggle for Independence - Bipin Chandra
    • M Laxmikanth-TATA Mc Graw Hills PublicationPratiyogita Darpan
    • Manoarama Year Book or Penguin Year Book
    • The Hindu News Paper or other

    Expected dates for the CSAT exam:-
    CSAT 2013 is expected to be held on Sunday, 19 May 2013.
    Main Exams will start from November 8 2013.
