To apply for SSC - Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer Examination, you should have a bachelor's degree or diploma in any one of the following engineering disciplines from a recognized university

Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

Your age should not be less than 18 years and more than 27 years to apply for this exam and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

Examination Pattern for SSC JE 2013

Paper I - Objective type test and will be following three sections

>> General Intelligence and Reasoning - 50 marks

>> General Awareness - 50 marks

>> Your selected engineering branch paper - 100 marks

Paper II - Conventional Type - There will be only single section

>> General Engineering - Civil Structural or Electrical or Mechanical - 300 marks

If you qualify this examination then you will be called for interview process which contains 100 marks in this recruitment process

You should be prepared well for interview process and try to get good marks in interview because that would be the final step of your job and good career so that you need to be prepared for everything and mostly I would like to suggest you that you should make your specialization subject knowledge strong because most of the questions will be asked from this section and you have to answer every single question in a right way to make good impression on interviewer and to prove yourself deserving 100% for this job

hi friend you didn't mention your branch so it is very difficult to send and one more thing is very difficult to find papers related to ssc in online so better to buy one previous papers book which is available in book shops or otherwise you can order book through flipkart.com
