DEAR SIR,A.F.C.A.T is called a common admission test as it is conducted for all three branches of indian air force. I.e. Flying branch, technical branch and ground duty branches in a single exam.Afcat syllabus and pattern:-1. The afcat question paper will have 100 questions. All questionswill be of three marks each. For every correct answer the candidate will get three marks and for every wrong answer onemark will be deducted under negative marking. The total time allotted for the paper is two hours.2. Each question paper will have questions from the following topics:-1. Paper 1 multiple type question with 4 options and syllabus is asfollows-(a) general awareness � history, sports, geography, environment,civics, basic science, defense, art culture, current affairs,politics etc.(b) verbal ability in english � comprehension, error detection,sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms and testing ofvocabulary.(c) numerical ability � decimal fraction, simplification, average,profit & loss, percentage, ratio & proportion and simple interest.(d) reasoning and military aptitude test � verbal skills andspatial.Paper 2. dear friend there is not any particular prescribed book for AFCAT as this exam has just started before 1 year so what you can do is just buy any book of combined defense services examination and you can prepare from there as the exam pattern and the syllabubs is nearly same and to get the more idea you can get the previous year question papers from careerairforce.nic.in ok buddy so just go ahead.

There is no e-book for afcat exam......but you can buy a Arihant book or a saparate book for general awareness and a R.S. aggarwal book for apptitude........
