Yes you can appear. But you need to have graduation marksheet/certificate after you qualify prelims and fill up form for the mains exam. You have to send the photocopy of your certificate/marksheet of the graduation final year exam you passed, along wiyh your mains form.

The exam you are calling IPS exam is called UPSC CSE Exam or simply IAS exam. If anybody is between 21 and 30 on the 1st August of the exam year and a citizen of India, he is surely eligible to sit this exam in the final year of his graduation.

yes off course final years candidates also appeared IPS EXAM.


QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR IPS:-

final year students / complete graduation from the recognized university.



AGE LIMITS:-

general = 21 to 30 years

obc = 3 years relaxation

sc/st = 5 years relaxation.


you must be INDIAN.


NO OF ATTEMPTS:-

general = 4

obc = 7

sc/st = no limits

Yes you are eligible for the UPSC exam because according to UPSC criteria every final year graduate student are eligible for the exam so that you are eligible for the exam but you have to fulfill the below criteria .

=> Before main exam you have to complete your graduation .

=> your age is in below limit :
21-30 for general cast
21-33 for obc cast
21-35 for sc/st cast
21-40 for physically handicapped

=> So if you fulfill the above criteria then you can give the exam .

=> But there are some limit on the number of times the exam is given like
For general cast candidate maximum 4 attempts are allowed .
For obc cast candidate maximum 7 attempts are allowed .

So start the preparation and give the exam .

Yes you can appear for IPS exam while studying 3rd year B.Com.

For IPS you need to appear for CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION.

The following exam is conducted by UPSC once every year.

Eligibility Criteria to appear for the exam:-

You must hold bachelors degree or you can also appear if you are in final year of Bachelors degree.

There is no restrictions for stream. Any stream students can give the following exam.

AGE LIMIT:-

Minimum age to appear for the exam is 21 yrs & maximum age is 30 yrs for General Category.

Age relaxation fro the reserved categories:

Its 5yrs for SC/ST.
3yrs for OBc.
10 yrs for PH.

Selection Procedure:-

Written exam
Interview

Written exam is held in 2 stages: Preliminary & mains.

Preliminary exam is known by the name CSAT.

After you clear Prelims you get eligible for mains exam and then called for Interview.

Yes you can apply for Civil Services Exam(CSE) being in T.Y.B.Com.

UPSC conducts the prestigious CSE every year to make recruitments to 24 services/posts.

CSE notification will be advertised on 02.02.2013 and Prelims exam will be held on 19.05.2013.

The eligibility for CSE :

Educational Qualification :
Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognised university/equivalent.

Final Year appearing/appeared candidates can apply on provision.
Being in 3rd year B.com you can apply.

Age Limit :
General category-21-30yrs on 1st August of the year of exam
OBC-21-33yrs
SC/ST-21-35yrs

Attempts :
General category-4 times
OBC-7 times
SC/ST-Unlimited times

So you can apply after meeting all the eligibility criterias.

yes definitely you are eligible for this exam upsc IPS.

the minimum educational qualification for IPS exam is graduation. that means candidate should be graduate from recognized university .
Those candidate who are appearing the final year of qualifying exam are also eligible for this exam.

Yes, dear you can apply for UPSC IPS Exam.

Because Candidate who have appeared for the qualifying examination and are awaiting result are also eligible for the Preliminary Examination.

All such candidates who qualify to appear for the Civil Services Main Examination must produce proof of having passed the said examination along with their application for the Main Examination.
